The 2003 INTERNATIONAL HORROR GUILD
awards recognizing outstanding achievements in the field of horror and
dark fantasy from the year 2002 were announced May 23, 2003. CHARLES L.
GRANT was previously announced at the World Horror Convention on April
19, 2003 as this year’s LIVING LEGEND. IHG Living Legends are
individuals who have made meritorious and notable contributions and/or
have substantially influenced the field of horror/dark fantasy. Previous
recipients are William F. Nolan, Alice Cooper, Ray Bradbury, Clive
Barker, Hugh B. Cave, Edward W. Bryant, Richard Matheson, and Harlan
Ellison.
IHG judges are Edward Bryant, Stefan R.
Dziemianowicz, Bill Sheehan, and Hank Wagner. For additional information
